Gary M. Schwartz is a Financial/Forensic Consultant with Patten, MacPhee & Associates, Inc. Gary holds an undergraduate degree in Finance from the University of Colorado; he also holds the Certified Fraud Examiner designation.
Gary's work experience includes twelve years as an Examiner with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency. An employee of Patten, MacPhee & Associates, Inc. since 1996, Gary has been designated as an expert in banking standards and practices, fraud and forensic accounting, and damages.
He is a Certified Fraud Examiner and a member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners as well as a candidate member of the American Society of Appraisers. Gary has also been appointed as an Examiner for the United States Trustee and has performed receivership services. He has prepared numerous expert reports and testified in various proceedings relating to fraud and the reconstruction of financial records. He has also rendered expert opinions regarding damages related to complex litigation cases.
His banking experience includes the performance of loan reviews, due diligence reviews, organizational reviews, and general bank consulting engagements for a variety of banking companies of all sizes throughout the country. He has also been involved in the valuation of a large number of banks and other companies.
